Job Opportunity: Technologist

I am looking for a creative technologist to join this small team for a two-year project aimed at developing proof-of-concept implementations for exile and underground media ventures.
The position is remote and part-time.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and adapt relevant internet freedom technologies for newsrooms operating in challenging environments;
- Develop and provide technical guidance for media practitioners in restricted media landscapes;
- Assist in the creation of unique case studies tailored to restricted media environments;
- Collaborate with newsrooms to address their challenges and create cases studies;
- Contribute to a comprehensive training syllabus for journalists working in challenging contexts;
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a full-stack developer;
- Proficiency in data scraping techniques and tools, and their application in unique contexts;
- Strong understanding of internet freedom technologies and their potential applications in restricted media environments;
- Strong understanding of digital security best practices;
- Ideally based in Taiwan, with Chinese language skills;
